Incorporated in the state of Tennessee, USA in 1997, JC COMPANY, Inc. started as a lab. scale contract service provider focusing on custom synthesis and formulation development. Later on large scale custom synthesis became possible due to the formation of Xinhua-JC Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., a joint venture between Shandong Xinhua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. which is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in China and JC in 2000.
In 2002, the company successfully relocated to Wuxi, Jiangsu province, China mainly because of the growing pharmaceutical market. JC forms a unique partnership with Southern Yangtze University which is one of research universities in China with about 3,000 graduates and 20,000 undergraduates. Today JC is one of key pharmaceutical service providers in China on custom synthesis and formulation development.
