Guildford Clinical Pharmacology Unit Ltd (GCPL) is a specialist clinical pharmacology company based in a major NHS hospital with access to much high tech equipment, staff skilled in operating it and consultant medical expertise. Examples of equipment are: Isotopes, MRI, SPECT, PET and ultrasound scans, bone densitometers, ophthalmology measurements and oncology treatment systems. This is combined with exceptional expertise in drug development and several innovative models of drug action designed to speed up development of analgesics, anti-emetics, and drugs that affect gut motility or mood.
