DxS is a pharmacogenomics company operating at the interface between genetic diagnostics and the pharmaceutical industry. The company strategy is to enable pharmacogenomics by providing genetic analysis services to the healthcare sector. These services include support for drug discovery, drug development and also drug marketing via introduction of "personalized medicines." Rather than specializing in a particular field of medicine, DxS operates on a fee-for-service basis and concentrates on providing exceptional levels of customer, technical and logistical support to facilitate the development and introduction of pharmacogenomics. A major focus is genetic analysis services, carried out under stringent quality systems, to support clinical trials. The business is also developing Genetwork ™ - a global alliance of diagnostic service laboratories to provide the diagnostic genotyping needed to implement personalized medicine.
