DNA Cloning and Manipulation using standard vectors, together with whole-gene synthesis, site-directed (in vitro) mutagenesis, restriction mapping and downstream analysis of cloned genes
DNA sequencing of either small fragment sequencing, primer walking or genomic scale sequencing
